If you see dark images on your iContact Camera lens when it's out out of focus, there may be dust on the sensor. 

To clean the sensor (the black shape below with the red outline), unscrew the lens and wipe the sensor with a Q-Tip. You can add a spritz of eyeglass or screen cleaner to the Q-tip if the dust doesn't come off easily. The sensor has a scratch-resistant glass cover, so you don't need to worry about damaging it. Clean the sensor with the camera on so that you can see the results in the video window.
